Minecraft Reality was a discontinued Template:W app for iOS developed by Minecraft:13th Lab and released around November 25, 2012.<ref>Announcing Minecraft Reality for iOS on the archived Minecraft:Mojang blog</ref><ref>Minecraft Reality Now Available for iOS on Minecraft:MCUpdate</ref><ref>Minecraft Reality App Released for iOS</ref> Users could use the official Minecraft Reality website to upload their own creations to the app. These models could then be found in the app, among creations from other users. The app could then be used to place the 3D models into the real world, similarly to Minecraft:Minecraft Earth.

Gameplay

Upon entering the app, a menu was shown with several built-in creations, in which the user could either press the button "Place a Creation" or "Place" in the page of the model to place a creation. The app then utilized the smartphone's camera in order to let the user combine Minecraft creations with the real world.
