During the {{RSL|God Wars}}, Armadyl allied with [[Dragonwilds:Saradomin]] and [[Dragonwilds:Bandos]] to battle [[Dragonwilds:Zamorak]]. However, Zamorak retaliated and wiped out {{RSL|Forinthry}} and created the {{RSL|Wilderness}} in {{RSL|Gielinor}}.{{CiteJournal|journal=Bandos|quote=He came to Gielinor for the God Wars, delighting in death and destruction between entities as powerful as him. He aligned with Saradomin and Armadyl to battle Zamorak, helping corner the lord of chaos and forcing his hand. The aviansie deity, Armadyl, is known as the god of justice. Though young by divine standards, and naïve by many others, Armadyl has a devoted following due to his care for his people.<br />

In the God Wars, he perhaps most of all suffered at the hands of Zamorak, for when Zamorak destroyed Forinthry, it took Armadyl's people with it. Whole settlements were wiped out in a single sweeping motion, thousands of the aviansie reduced to ash. Including Armadyl's own husband.<br />

Since the Edicts, Armadyl has had a change of heart. While he will fight if he has to, he prefers a more peaceful path. He returned to Gielinor to put a stop to Bandos' warmongering, preventing him from turning the planet into a war-torn wreck. Though Armadyl holds peace as the highest virtue, he was not afraid to kill the god of war.<br />
<br />
On Ashenfall, Armadyl and his people did not take part in the dragon conflict. They disappeared deeper into the mainland and have not been heard of for centuries. Though Armadyl has left Gielinor and returned to the world of his people, there are rumours of winged beings living further into the continent.<br />
