I cower beneath broken timber, hoping they do not hear the scratching of my quill against the page. I use my own blood as ink, like some infernal contract, but no matter how much I write prayers for salvation, no one hears my plea.<br /> <br /> It was the beasts, the [[Dragonwilds:Garou (race)|garou]], who came for us, and they were not alone.<br /> <br /> I had thought them eradicated. The alliance with the war god and his foul-smelling minions, was so we could wipe out their moon goddess and cleanse the forests of their filth. We were so assured of our victory and we were so close to success.<br /> <br /> But now, now their moon goddess rides atop a scaled nightmare. Flames for breath and swords for fangs. Beside her came two creatures I had never seen before. Scaled, winged, wicked, like the great beast the goddess rode.
