The hues generated a joy in him that he could not describe, and he longed to craft it into something befitting its splendour. The crossbow, blue as the ocean, caused much mockery from his companions, yet their mockery soon died as he speared a bolt through the heart of a dragon. Something all of their weapons had failed to do.

He was just disappointed that the dragon’s scales were green and went searching for that ever elusive blue.
