==Walkthrough==

===Part I: To Slay Dragons!===
To start this quest, speak to the [[Dragonwilds:Wise Old Man]] in [[Dragonwilds:Bramblemead Valley|Bramblemead Village]] and he will instruct you on getting started with hunting down [[Dragonwilds:General Velgar]]. Before you can start hunting dragons, you need a shelter. He will tell you to build a little shelter, with at least a [[Dragonwilds:Bed Roll]] in it, which you have to claim. To be able to claim it, you need to build at least a foundation, 3 walls, and a ceiling, and place the bed roll in it. Once you finish your task, talk with him again.

He will tell you that one of the adventurers, young [[Dragonwilds:Cathan]] is missing and needs to be found. To do this, he will cast a locator spell, but he needs some [[Dragonwilds:antlers]] for that. Hunt down [[Dragonwilds:deer]]s in the valley and bring the antlers to him. As they tend to run away, you need a [[Dragonwilds:ranged]] or [[Dragonwilds:magic]] weapon to kill them.<br>
The spell will point you to a nearby castle within the valley, so this will be your next destination.

===Part II: A Lost Adventurer...===
When you arrive at the [[Dragonwilds:Keep of Blue Flames]], it will look eerily similar to Lumbridge Castle, but with Bandosian banners flying. This place will have a ''lot'' of goblins, so pack some health potions. You will find Cathan's Journal lying at the top of the castle next to a loot chest. Read his journal and you will learn that you need to go to the [[Dragonwilds:Whispering Swamp]] to locate a "blue-flame door". At this point, [[Dragonwilds:Velgar]] will descend to the keep, spraying poison next to the gate, then attack with his poison puddles. You can either wait for his attack to end or just run out of the keep, dodging the strikes.

Journey through the "blue-flame door" (the [[Dragonwilds:Dragonkin Vault]] [[Dragonwilds:Vertentis Kara]]) and speak to Spitfoot at the end of the vault. He will detail Cathan's journey, his betrayal, and his desire to go to [[Dragonwilds:Ghornfell]]. Take this information back to the [[Dragonwilds:Wise Old Man]] in the Bramblemead Valley, and he will remark about Cathan's foolish recklessness. After telling you that if he is willing to brave the [[Dragonwilds:Garou (race)|Garou]], Cathan must have a way to deal with Velgar, he will ask you to dive into [[Dragonwilds:Ghornfell]] to pick up his trail.

Once you arrive in the [[Dragonwilds:Fractured Plains]] (a region of Ghornfell), you will then be prompted to go check out [[Dragonwilds:Velgar's Rise]], a monumental tower at the heart of the region, for any information on Cathan's whereabouts.

===Part III: The Beginnings of a Legend...===
When you arrive at the Rise, you will encounter [[Dragonwilds:Cathan]]'s ghost. Speak to him and he will talk about how he was so sure he could defeat Velgar (after remarking how death sucked). He will tell you that the [[Dragonwilds:Garou (race)|Garou]] mobbed him and dragged him to the tower, holding him down in front of Velgar as they sacrificed him. He will then give you a recipe to make a [[Dragonwilds:Challenge Horn]] that can challenge Velgar in his tower.

You need to travel to both [[Dragonwilds:Bloodblight Swamp]] and [[Dragonwilds:Stormtouched Highlands]] to gather the materials for the Horn.
* In the Highlands you have to travel past the sekeleton which the [[Dragonwilds:Garou (race)|Garou]] use as home on the western part and you can find a dragon skull. You can mine it's [[Dragonwilds:Dragon's Tooth|teeth]] with an [[Dragonwilds:Iron Pickaxe]] to get the [[Dragonwilds:Dragon Tooth]].
* In the Swamp, you have to travel to the castle on the most southern point. In the castle you can find the [[Dragonwilds:Bloodwood Tree]] (and some [[Dragonwilds:Garou (race)|Garou]]), and you can harvest it with [[Dragonwilds:Iron Logging Axe]] to gather the [[Dragonwilds:Bloodwood Sap]].
Combine them with 5 [[Dragonwilds:Bronze Bar]] and you can create the Horn.

===Part IV: Fight for your life===
When you have the Horn, grab your best armor and weapon, bring some [[Dragonwilds:antipoison]] and [[Dragonwilds:healing]] potions, and enter [[Dragonwilds:Velgar's Rise]]. The top of the tower is basically a triangle, with a pedestal at the center. When you place the horn on the [[Dragonwilds:Dragonkin altar]], Velgar will arrive on one corner.

He will use poison spray and poison puddle bombs or stomp both his legs, which will create spikes in your direction. If you get close to using melee, he will stomp one leg, which is closer to you, and also bite forward and hit sideways with his head. All of his attacks are delayed, so you can prepare and dodge, and between each attack he will wait a bit.

After he loses 1/4 of his health, he will fly away and use his poison puddle bomb attack multiple times. After that, he will land on another corner, the next of the previous one, clockwise. In the second phase, he will use multiple attacks one after another, before he waits a bit. The attacks are the same as in the previous phase.

After his health is brought to half, he will again fly away, and his signature attack will happen again. He will land again on another edge, still next to the previous one, clockwise, and the fight continues like before. He will once more fly away when he loses 3/4 of his health. He will land on the original edge, where he can be attacked again.

Once Velgar is defeated, you will get his [[Dragonwilds:Velgar's Head|head]]. Go outside of the tower, speak to the [[Dragonwilds:Wise Old Man]] (who has replaced Cathan's ghost), and give him the head to complete this quest.
