In the lore scrap, the author (whose name is unknown), [[Dragonwilds:Eva]], Eric, and the driver transporting the group, were all escaping from presumably the [[Dragonwilds:Garou]] since they were travelling near the Fractured Plains at night. The author caught a glimpse of yellow eyes in the distance after Eva instinctively cast flames into the woods.
