Those joining the Fellhollow military who were not from the more noble bloodlines would go into the force known as hoplites. This force of warrior farmers named themselves after the hoplites of Hallow, legendary forces spoken of in some of the Saradominist text.<br />

They were disciplined in a way that earned them great respect. Each of them acted as the shield for the person next to them and a spear for the enemy in front. They wore armour inspired by the style of Hallow, with plateskirts rather than sturdy greaves, allowing for more freedom of movement — a trait they took great advantage of.<br />
