Nearby garou villages were turned into ruins and were occupied by goblins, as Gahl would see. However, he saw nearby goblins torturing a newborn Garou in her ruinous crib. Gahl slaughtered the goblins and took the newborn with him, raising her with his love. He named the newborn, [[Dragonwilds:Dahnu]], and realized she was not magically skilled and could not learn his druid spells. However, Gahl created a bow using antlers from a deer and taught her how to hunt with a bow. Dahnu was naturally gifted whilst using the bow and would defeat the prior monarch later on, making her people thrive and her father proud.{{CiteJournal|journal=Hunter Stagbow|quote=Gahl was a Garou druid who lost everyone he knew.
