Eventually, Ashenfall was found, and there Guthix had discovered the anima was different than the rest of the world, wild and unique that it would leak [[Dragonwilds:Anima Vent\|vents]] of elements and turn stones into [[Dragonwilds:Rune Essence\|magical rocks.]] Experimenting on these stones and the magic of the area, using the elder artefact, {{RSL\|Stone of Jas}}, Guthix had created [[Dragonwilds:Runes]], a means for certain mortals to use magic, as most that he brought with him were unable to use magic on their own.

			With this, Guthix would spread this across the world, but while he left his followers on Ashenfall, an event called the [[Dragonwilds:Schism]] had unfolded, humans would start killing the [[Dragonwilds:Amalgamated]] humans, believing them to be impure and wrong.
