Gothren Actillian was a blacksmith known for his obsession with Dragonwilds:blurite and his pioneering work with blurite weaponry.

Biography
Gothren was a blacksmith fixated on less desirable metals and materials, particularly blurite. The metal's distinctive blue hues generated a joy in him that he could not describe, and he longed to craft it into something befitting its splendor. He spent hours hunting in the darkest caverns for slivers of blue ore, passing by glittering deposits of silver and gold without interest. His dedication paid off when he discovered blurite ore glittering in a hidden Dragonwilds:dragonkin vault in Dragonwilds:Ghornfell's central region.
Despite his skill as a blacksmith, Gothren possessed no talent for swordplay or magic. However, he proved himself a skilled marksman with crossbows, capable of knocking an apple from a Dragonwilds:chinchompa's head before the creature exploded.
When Gothren crafted his first blurite crossbow, his companions mocked the weapon's unusual appearance. Their mockery ceased when he used it to kill a dragon, something all their conventional weapons had failed to accomplish. Gothren remained disappointed that the dragon's scales were green rather than blue, and continued his search for that elusive color.

Relationship with Mittens
Gothren kept a cat named Dragonwilds:Mittens in his forge. The cat proved remarkably helpful, jumping on the bellows at precise intervals to maintain optimal forge temperatures and providing timely alerts when metal needed attention. Through what Gothren interpreted as fortunate accidents—spilled reagents and ruined sand molds—he discovered improved designs for blurite crossbow limbs and bolts.
