This page briefly chronicles, in rough chronological order, the history of the Dragonwilds:Ashenfall and its inhabitants.

Please note that, for practical reasons, the descriptions given here are very brief. As such, it is recommended to visit the Ashenfall article for more information on the continent's history.
Current cycle of the universe begins
The Dragonwilds:Elder Gods shapes the known universe after destroying the last one from the previous cycle, in a event known as The Great Revision. They eventually created Dragonwilds:Gielinor, their perfect world.
The Dragonkin, a race of winged, reptile-like creatures would survive the Great revision by hiding in the Abyss.
Creation of Ashenfall
They noticed that some Dragonwilds:anima created would taste different, thus they turned a continent of the planet into a vent for these anima, which would create an event known as the Anima Twist.
The Rise of the Dragonkin
After millennia of searching for a new suitable homeworld, the Dragonkin would land on Gielinor, and found Orthen (which translates to "first city") on what is now Anachronia. The Dragonkin researched and documented the native flora and fauna of the world.
The Fall of the Dragonkin
A particular Dragonkin by the name of Kerapac creates the Crucible, a device capable of converting normal anima into Shadow Anima, which he claims can bring their society equal in power to that of the Elder Gods. Without the approval of the other Dragonkin, Kerapac uses this dangerous device, transforming vast quantities of anima. This angers the Elder Gods who, in response, Jas would destroy Orthen and enslave the Dragonkin to the Stone of Jas.

First & Second Age
scope="col" width="12%" |Event
scope="col" width="80%" |Brief description
Dragonwilds:Guthix's Discovery of Ashenfall
After traveling through the cosmos, Guthix had founded Gielinor and filled the world with new inhabitants. He also found several Elder Artefacts, tools used by the Elder Gods. He would discover Ashenfall and the unique properties of the continent with some of his followers, making a settlement in Dragonwilds:Brynmoor.
Creation of Dragonwilds:Runes
During Guthix's stay in Ashenfall, he discovered magical rocks, researching, and studying them to try to get them to harness the element of the world, thus creating the first runes after using the Stone of Jas for help.
Settlement Forming
Guthix would depart from Ashenfall, to spread his discovery to the rest of the inhabitant he brought with him. Those who followed him to Ashenfall would remain and start forming settlements. The first being Dragonwilds:Bramblemead Village, which was founded by Guthix when Ashenfall was discovered.
Some humans would form the Dragonwilds:Wild Knights, an order of skilled scouts who protects the people from the wild.
The Dragonwilds:Schism
As the humans grew to inhabit their new homes, several would change appearance, such as beards turning into leaves, skin glowing like fire, some even transforming to take qualities of elements, thus gaining elemental abilities, turning them into Dragonwilds:amalgamated humans. Some humans would see them as impure or imperfect, where they would treat the amalgamated humans differently, where the amalgamated humans would suffer persecution and even be murdered by those who feared them.
The Wild Knights and some other humans would attempt to protect the amalgamated humans, offering them refuges against those that hunted them down.
Veil over Ashenfall
Guthix world return to Ashenfall, where he would witness in horror at the crimes some of his followers committed. He would take some of the humans with him to the mainland, those who did not join the rest in killing the amalgamated, and left those who murdered the amalgamated in Ashenfall. He would then appoint the Wild Knights to being protectors of Ashenfall, to protect the wilds from the settlers, and the settlers from the wild.
Guthix would attempt to hide Ashenfall from the rest of the world, placing a veil over the continent, in hope it would not be discovered.
The Dragonkin's arrival
Despite the veil being placed, a group of Dragonkin, known as the Dragonwilds:Cabal would discover Ashenfall and settle within the northern region of Ashenfall, where they would use the continent's anima to create a new settlement for themselves.
The Garou's arrival
The Garou would arrive to Gielinor, led by their goddess Dragonwilds:Lougrim and settled within Ashenfall, within the Dragonwilds:Ghornfell region. They kept their tradition and settled in areas that were rich in resources. Dragonwilds:Brakka would enslave some of them at one point in order to create his tower. The humans would have an uneasy truce with them, but would grow envy of their goddess' appearance.

Third Age
scope="col" width="12%" |Event
scope="col" width="80%" |Brief description
Saradominst's settlers.
During the time of the God Wars, Saradominist missionaries would arrive to the continent in hope to escape the ongoing war on the mainland. They would be welcomed, and eventually start converting the Guthixians into worshipping Saradomin.
Sometime later the Dragonwilds:Runecrafting Guild was built to allow the Saradominist wizards a place of study and magical research.

The Dragonwilds:Temple of Saradomin was later built as a house of worship.

The Dragonwilds:Adventurer's Guild was formed to train new adventurers.

The Dragonwilds:Bronze Advisors, an alliance between the Saradominists and Guthixians would be formed to oversee both religious belief equality

Some Zamorakians, who traveled with the Saradominists refugees in secret, would from the Dragonwilds:Children of Shadows.
Saradominist rulling
The Saradominists would attempt to become the bigger influence of Bramblemead, attempting to overthrow the Guthixian druids and push them elsewhere within the continent. Policies began to slip more and more in favor of the Saradominist approach as the Guthixian faith slowly dwindled.
The settlement of Bramblemead would start being ruled by a lord.

The Dragonwilds:Keep of Blue Flames would be built for the lord to watch over the settlement.

The Dragonwilds:Knights of Saradomin were formed as official police and army forces for Bramblemead.
Conflict with the Garou
The humans would soon deplete all of the iron deposit within Bramblemead Valley and sent an encroach to the northern regions in search of more iron. Some garou hunting party would see this as disrespectful, and a small skirmishes between the two took place.
After the death of their prince, the Dragonwilds:Human-Garou War commenced. Leading mostly to a stalemate as the Dragonwilds:Whispering Swamp acted as a barrier between Brynmoor and the northern region.
Human-Garou War
The humans were forced to make a deal with the goblins for the assistance of the Bandosians army, with Bandos himself arriving to oversee the war in attempt to face Lougrim, who he had history with.
The Garou's goddess Lougrim would be pushed back, forcing Lougrim to make a deal with the Dragonkin in order to tip the outcome to her favour.
The Dragonkin would unleash their dragons to attack the humans and their Bandosian allies.
Bandos would personally intervene and face Dragonwilds:Velgar. Despite nearly winning, Bandos would be bested due to his arrogant, forcing the God of War to retreat.
The Human loss would allow Lougrim to show mercy, forcing an uneasy alliance between the humans and Garous.
Dragonwilds:Kuldra would be created later on thanks to Lougrim's blood.
Discovery of Dragonwilds:Emberwood
After the conflict, some humans settlers would move to Dragonwilds:Fellhollow, to get away from the conflict the garous and humans were still committing. They founded Emberwood village.
Dragonwilds:Dragon Rebellion
Years after Kuldra's creation, she assembled an army to overthrow the Dragonkin.
The Dragonkin would start dying out, leaving Kuldra to be titled Dragon Queen.
Lougrim and Kuldra would later fight, causing the Dragonwilds:Fractured Plains to be formed in Ghornfell. Kuldra would be victorious and devours Lougrim.
Dragon Attack
After overthrowing their masters and Lougrim, Kuldra ordered her dragons to destroy all human settlements.
Dragonwilds:Imaru would be amongst the few to show mercy with Dragonwilds:Xikotal, forcing Kuldra to intervene.
Xikotal would be killed, leaving Imaru and the humans in Emberwood grief.
Velgar would lay waste to Brynmoor's settlement, ruling it and Dragonwilds:Ghornfell.
Dragonwilds:Fuzan would rule over Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands.
Imaru's Curse
Imaru would seek Dragonwilds:Ravanna to revive her beloved, instead she is gifted with more power, a curse. Imaru would attempt to use this against Kuldra, only to be killed by the God-Eater.
Imaru would drink from the River Noumenon and claw her way out from death to continue her fight against Kuldra. Instead, she is corrupted and becomes hungry for souls.

Due to the spreading rot and corruption of Imaru, inhabitants of Fellhollow would slowly turn into undead.

Ravanna, unwilling to see the whole of Ashenfall and the greater world of Gielinor fall in Imaru's hunger, would split Imaru's curse into three fragments and seal the undead dragon in her tower.
The Doomed Expedition
With the reveal of Ashenfall after the turmoil on the mainland, an expedition was funded by many rich individuals to discover more about this mysterious land. This expedition would find the continent of Ashenfall to be ruled by dragons and many members of the expedition would die by dragon attacks.
Only the Dragonwilds:Wise Old Man, the leader of the expedition, Dragonwilds:Vannaka, Dragonwilds:Zanik, Dragonwilds:Doric, and a young adventurer called Dragonwilds:Cathan would be among the survivors of the attacks who'd wash up upon the shores of Ashenfall.
Discovery of Temple Woods
Traversing through the wilderness of Ashenfall, the remaining survivors would discover an old Saradominist church ravaged by time's decay. They would uncover an inactive lodestone in the church and, using supplies they uncovered in their travels, repaired the lodestone to contact the mainland. While waiting for reinforcements from the mainland, the young adventurer Dragonwilds:Cathan would leave the group to set off on his own to defeat the dragon overlords.
