Kuldra was created by the [[Dragonwilds:Dragonkin (race)|Dragonkin]] [[Dragonwilds:Lacrussa]] and [[Dragonwilds:Avisk]] with the assistance of the [[Dragonwilds:Gods|goddess]] [[Dragonwilds:Lougrim]]{{CiteVideo|author=RuneScape: Dragonwilds|title=Developer Deep-dive|url=3j9CcdWKTc8?|timestamp=28:22|date=20250415|site=Youtube|notes=|name=}}, using the goddess' blood for their experiments, as well as [[Dragonwilds:Rune Essence|rune essence]]. She was the only survivor of the experiment, with other dying before her. Despite Lacrussa being against multiheaded dragons due to insanity kicking in for multiple minds, Kuldra was able to work as one mind unified. Her rage was also controlled, spread across her that allowed her to express other emotions as well, such as curiosity and wit.

=== Dragon Rebellion ===
As she grew older, she witnessed her children and other dragons that came before her being enslaved and mistreated by their masters. Enraged by this, she would plot a [[Dragonwilds:Dragon Rebellion|rebellion]] against the dragonkin, at first, she was hesitant, but it was [[Dragonwilds:Velgar]] who convinced her, and was the first to join her cause. When the rebellion started, Lacrussa was slain, along with [[Dragonwilds:Brakka]], who Kuldra stole powers from for herself and shared it with Velgar, her most trusted ally,{{CiteJournal|journal=Velgar|quote=General Velgar was one of Kuldra's most trusted allies in the dragon rebellion. In the years that led to the betrayal of their Dragonkin masters, she would seek Velgar's advice on how to best handle the situation. Sometime during these events, Kuldra caught wind of [[Dragonwilds:Imaru]]'s and [[Dragonwilds:Xikotal]]'s mercy towards the human settlements in [[Dragonwilds:Fellhollow]], and as a result, she decided to confront the duo herself. As Kuldra descended on the region, nobles within the region would, would arm themselves in [[Dragonwilds:Steel Equipment|Steel equipment]]{{CiteJournal|journal=Steel Platelegs|quote=When Kuldra arrived it was as if the air had grown heavy, pressing down on everyone. A whole village fell silent as the Godeater turned her gaze upon them. As Imaru and Xikotal rose to face her, villagers instinctively ran to don their heirloom steel armour, hoping that they wouldn‘t have to use it, but knowing in their hearts that they would.}} to assist Xikotal and Imaru, in hope to defend their new home and bring an end to the Dragon Queen. Despite the help and numbers, they failed to bring Kuldra down. With Kuldra's strength and power seemingly unmatched, she would pulled Xikotal's heart from his chest and devoured it{{CiteJournal|journal=Ravanna's Third Journal|quote=I have a new customer, and she won’t fit through the door.
Odd to empathise with a dragon, but I do. We all saw what happened. I watched as the great multi-headed dragon queen pulled Xikotal’s heart from his chest and ate it in front of his mate.}}. She dared to shelter the lost and wandering humans, rather than to put us to the flames.}} However, Imaru would challenge Kuldra a second time, after being infused by a curse{{CiteJournal|journal=Ravanna's Third Journal|quote=the rage of a dragon, combined with the power of a grief-curse, such a thing could be the blade needed to slit Kuldra’s throat.}} placed by [[Dragonwilds:Ravanna]].{{CiteJournal|journal=Ravanna's Third Journal|quote=Curses, though, that I’m good with those.

Imaru’s rage makes her the perfect focus. The beating heart around the darkest magics. She can be a weapon against the Godeater,}}{{CiteJournal|journal=Ravanna's Fourth Journal|quote=thought I could offer her something almost as good. I offered her revenge. I created a curse within her, using her grief and rage as a focus, so that it might strengthen her against Kuldra.}} However, this was not enough to even stand a chance against Kuldra, who killed her quite easily.{{CiteJournal|journal=Ravanna's Fourth Journal|quote=So Imaru died. Fell to the ground in a crumbled heap}} Despite Imaru's action Kuldra had left the humans of Fellhollow alone, their fate met by the resurrected corpse of Imaru some time later.

With Ashenfell settlement destroyed, minus the garou and [[Dragonwilds:goblins]], Kuldra now rules the continent with her dragons.

During the 13th Year of the [[Dragonwilds:Sixth Age]], while ruling unchallenged, an expedition had made its way to Ashenfall, her generals had attacked the expedition in her name.

== Trivia ==
* Her appearance from the concept art, banner image and the animated trailer for Fellhollow shows some resemblance to {{wp|Tiamat (Dungeons & Dragons)|Tiamat}}, the goddess of greed and queen of evil dragons.
** Just like Tiamat, Kuldra is the dragon queen, has 5 heads of different types of Dragons, and is worshipped.
** Her appearance in the Fellhollow cutscene intro revealed that she only has two legs. In ''{{RSL|RuneScape}} (RS3)'', {{RSL|Gorvek}} is another dragon known to also have only two legs.
* Within the lore of ''RuneScape,'' another dragon is known to exists with the title of Queen; the {{RSL|Queen Black Dragon}}, being the first dragon ever created.
** Like the Queen Black Dragon, Kuldra also had children, who were experimented on or enslaved by the Dragonkin.
* Kuldra is amongst the few known dragons with multiple heads in the ''RuneScape'' franchise, with the others being the {{RSL|King Black Dragon}} and {{RSL|Verak Lith}}.
