{{Journal entry|
Demons dealt with wounds and ailments on their own. There was no such thing as a demon surgeon or sick bay. If wounds were fatal then the demon would die; if wounds were survivable, then survive they did.

This was an observation of Summoner Flament, who passed it on to Alric, who idly mentioned it to Lord Rasmodel in one of their weekly meetings. As with most information, Lord Rasmodel examined it for opportunities.

If demons sought no help from their wounds - no remedies, no medical assistance - then his knights would carry weapons that took advantage of that fact. Arrows were poisoned, since no demon carried antipoison. And arrows were barbed, as demons would pull them roughly from their hides, rather than remove them carefully.

It was a small advantage, but Lord Rasmodel took it. As he would often say, "stack opportunities, one on top of the other, and soon you will have an impregnable tower".
