The Fogger's Gala was one of the few dates that a Black Knight could look forward to. An annual tradition, it would take place on the mistiest day of the year. As soon as low clouds started rolling in, word spread among the knights that it was Gala day.<br />

It was an informal event on the battlements of the keep. There were quivers that represented each of the night's events, and the knights would name their arrows and place them into the quivers of those they wanted to participate in. Arrows were drawn randomly to determine the order.<br />
<br />
Sergeant Blister was on hand with betting. He brought his blackboard, which he seemed to have on-hand when needed, and a week's wages were placed on friends and adversaries.<br />
<br />
The events all revolved around bows and crossbows. The fog made it almost impossible to see anything, so the Gala was a test of both memory and accuracy. One event required the archer to hit hay bales with fire arrows. The hay bales were invisible, so they only had location names to go by - the hut by the waterfall, Skrexis's bed - which meant firing Hail Mary's in the vague direction of their quarry, hoping that it would ignite in the night.<br />

Other events included Pin the Arrow on the Goblin (as you can probably imagine, a noisy goblin ran about in the fog), Farthest Arrow and Alric's Curtains.<br />
