The Longbow is every hunter’s friend. Capable of taking down prey over a greater range than the Shortbow, it has been the end of many a deer trying to flee through the woods. <br />

[[Dragonwilds:Bramblemead Valley|Bramblemead]] would host a thrilling archery tournament. The villagers would proudly bring their own Longbows, meticulously crafted by hand, and compete to take down cleverly hidden targets scattered across the village. It was a spectacle of skill and precision, with the only rule being that the target must be shootable from the open street. <br />

With the introduction of magic, the competition took on a whole new level of silliness. Participants conjured magical air currents that sent arrows astray – often into unsuspecting washing lines or pies cooling on windowsills – or they would playfully blast arrows out of the air with fire spells. <br />
<br />
However, this stopped after the [[Dragonwilds:Amalgamated]] archer, Derien, joined the game. Gifted with the element of air, his arrows curved gracefully with each shot, missing traps, tricks and deceptions. His victory earned the Amalgamated more jealousy, which led to the competition ending out of envious spite.<br />
