Yet, I don’t see it that way today. As the village has fallen to the shambling nightmare that is the withering, the other priests and I have worked together to save who we can.<br /> <br /> There are dead buried deep below the soil and their bones carry the power of prayer in them, like all do. So we priests prayed together, a union of faith, to erect a barrier of belief to keep the withered villagers contained.<br /> <br /> Our prayers bound to the icons, and only together will the village be re-opened once more.<br /> <br /> A tragic loss, truly. Emberwood could have been the great human utopia. Faiths working side by side. Amalgamated and not – villagers who do not let their differences define them.
