As defender of the herd, the ram sees itself as a powerful warrior that can slay the strongest of foes. This might explain why there are fewer of them around than simple genetics might suggest.

More aggressive than the average sheep, the ram is prone to picking fights with anything he can. They have been known to headbutt rocks, stomp on the roots of trees and have long, noisy, arguments with the wind.

They taste delicious with mint sauce.
