Reinforced leather, designed to withstand powerful attacks. Layers of stiffened leather folded together to strengthen one another, turning singular sheets into a powerful defensive force. <br />

When [[Dragonwilds:Amalgamated]] rose through the ranks of the guard — a tricky feat given the prejudice against them — it did not instill the populace with a sense of comfort. The villagers would see the marks of the elemental corruption on the guards and would turn and walk the other way. They would refuse to report a crime if they saw leaves instead of hair.<br />
Amalgamated guards would rarely be granted equipment of greater quality than reinforced leather — no matter what the mission they were assigned. It was seen as a waste, considering the uncooperative nature of many villagers, making it hard for an Amalgamated guard to do their duty. <br />

It is, perhaps, no wonder that few Amalgamated guards chose to remain in the service for long. <br />
