Some spawn with rocks on the ground that you can easily gather from. The floating rocks require being hit (most easily with an arrow or an attack from a staff), and they will then fall to the ground to be mined. Alternatively, players can cast [[Dragonwilds:Rocksplosion]] whilst aiming at the floating rocks and can collect rune essence without affecting the [[Dragonwilds:pickaxe]]'s durability.<br />
