=== Life in the mainland ===
Not much is known about his early life, but it is known that he was trained as a White Knight, ranked a initiative of the order. As a member of the order, he trained other knights in swordsmanship whilst also giving lectures on his life as an explorer.{{CiteJournal|journal=White Full Helm|quote= Sir Percival Lateef was a proud man, assured of his own prowess, character and moral standing. * Sir Percival Lateef is a pun on the word, Superlative.
* According to [[Dragonwilds:Mod Raven]], the armor is not intended to belong to Sir Percival Lateef, where the knight himself would have worn a different color instead of the red, which is meant to be for ''initiatives'', is because it is iconic to the ''{{OSL|Old School RuneScape}}'' version of the armor.{{CiteDiscord|quote= The red plume is because that's the most iconic OSRS variant of white armour.

You'll note that I left Sir Lateef's rank explicitly absent, because this sort of detail doesn't actually add anything to this discussion. His is a little side story with his own adventure for you to work out and consider, but his specific heirarchy in the order isn't actually of any relevance here.
