The jade vine has three attacks:

* '''Root attack''': The jade vine will send its roots at the player to [[Dragonwilds:Stagger|stagger them]].
* '''Poison missile''': Similar to the druid projectile, the jade vine will send a moderately tracking projectile at the player, damaging them by six [[Dragonwilds:Health|hitpoints]] for five seconds. Players can only parry this attack.
* '''Double stem slam''': The jade vine will slam both of its "heads" into the ground, releasing a small poison cloud and damaging the player by six hitpoints for five seconds if it makes contact. Players can either block or parry the attack.

The jade vine is an unusual plant, that likes to attack anyone that gets too close. With a maw full of thorns and a stem full of hatred, the jade vine has been the bane of many a hunter.

They aren't actually native to [[Dragonwilds:Ashenfall]], at least not originally. They were brought to the continent by the druid [[Dragonwilds:Hokistix]], who had a terrible taste in houseplants. He was forced to live on the edge of the village, until he disappeared.

It's not really a mystery as to where he vanished to, but suffice to say his plants were very well fed.
