{{Journal entry| Ulv had many skills, but hunting was his strongest. He was inherently quiet, still as the night, and he could hold his position, in the trees or bushes, for hours at a time. Ravanna was never good at this. When the two of them hunted together, Ravanna would sneeze, cough, or scream at the sight of an unexpected insect, and the two of them would watch their quarry disappear off into the night.

Although this would occasionally test their friendship, Ulv never really held it against Ravanna. Instead, he continued attempting to teach the necromancer the ways of the forest, and the techniques the Wild Knights would use to track down game. It never took. Try as she might, Ravanna was never going to be silent as a shadow.

In apology, she looked for a way to create a weapon that would reduce the impact of her noisy nature. Longbows fired further and faster, meaning that less stealth was needed. She made her way into Fellhollow in search of a material strong enough, and returned with willow branches that she crafted into a longbow as a gift for her friend.

Their hunts improved dramatically afterward. That was, until they became the hunted.
