They shared common ground, after all: a hatred of being set on fire and chopped, primarily by humans and *spit* adventurers (trees would try to spit, but it mostly led to an unbecoming dribble of sap). <br /> <br /> The alliance didn&#039;t last long, mostly thanks to miscommunication down to a lack of common language. During a gathering at a seashore glade, the fish brought a contingent of hammerheads and sawfish, which the trees deemed overly aggressive.
