As a metaphor for older forms of information gathering, the agent and chicken go fishing, beginning with a pool. Agent's [[Minecraft:fishing rod]] accidentally pulls out a plug which causes the pool to drain, depressing the agent. The two wander out into a teal void where they find a series of computers and servers. As the narrator explains AI, the computers are revealed to be in the shape of the word AI. Next, the chicken is used to represent AI, being given hundreds of [[Minecraft:books]] by the Agent, representing machine learning.

After being shown many books, the chicken then looks at a laptop, a smartphone, and a pile of books. This process takes so long that the agent naps on a [[Minecraft:bed]]. Having gone through everything, the chicken has learned many things. This pivots to a sequence of connections, such as books about tigers often mentioning cats, while websites on cats rarely mention cars, pictures of cars often including [[Minecraft:Wolf|dogs]], and scientific studies of dogs never mention saxophones. Having found "millions and millions of patterns," the chicken wakes the agent up and goes out to test predictions starting with [[Minecraft:fish]] not being found in [[Minecraft:trees]], [[Minecraft:Short Grass|fields]], cups, or puddles. They go to a lake and find a whale, incentivizing them to double check what AI puts out.

As the narrator stresses that generative AI was new at the time, the agent catches a [[Minecraft:Raw Cod|cod]].

The AI Adventurers are watching videos on their tablet, where in a [[Minecraft:basketball]] bounces off several [[Minecraft:Wooden Slab|slabs]] onto a [[Minecraft:piston]]. They are excited when they realize AI can help them design their own, and run off to a basketball court to test their idea. What they came up with is to throw the ball off a wall, bouncing off the {{Wikipedia|Eiffel Tower}}, then the {{Wikipedia|Great Wall of China}}, and then several {{Wikipedia|Moai}}, a sequence of events that is impossible for several reasons. It's explained that this idea was somehow created with the GPS in a car.

They pivot to using generative AI, and get an extremely bland and uncreative trick shot. This is because they didn't give the chatbot very descriptive instructions. They come back with a {{Wikipedia|Rube Goldberg machine|machine}} made of several pieces. Agent initiates it by throwing the ball into a basket, which knocks over a domino row of [[Minecraft:Brick|bricks]], pressing a [[Minecraft:lever]] which pushes a [[Minecraft:cat]] in a [[Minecraft:minecart]], who gnaws at a [[Minecraft:cod]] on a [[Minecraft:Fishing Rod|fishing line]], which then falls onto a [[Minecraft:spruce door]], which sends the ball flying. It nearly misses, but luckily Chicken is able to hit the ball in time.

Chicken is lounging around on a teal chair, when a robotic vacuum cleaner bumps into it. Agent walks into the room, and gets repeatedly blocked by it. Walking over to a desk, Agent unlocks their tablet using facial recognition, looking at video of [[Minecraft:tropical fish]]. Inspired, they decide to construct their own chatbot which triangulates the position of an ideal vantage point for diving. They decide to go check it out, but first arrive at a busy street, waiting for a taxi.

After arriving at the [[Minecraft:beach]], they dive into the coral reef, communing with several fish and a miniature submarine. A [[Minecraft:dolphin]] swims by, which excites the duo. Through technology not yet developed at the time of the videothey manage to speak with the dolphin, who leads them to a [[Minecraft:shipwreck]], where another dolphin is trapped. Together, Chicken and Agent are able to free the dolphin, and both duos swim along happily.

Agent and Chicken are once again lounging around on a coach, looking at their tablet for ideas on how to build a treehouse. However, they are told it's too good to be true, and realize upon closer inspection that it might be AI generated. To be sure, Chicken superimposes themself into the image and begins exploring, discovering firsthand that the architecture is impossible, and falls off an upside down balcony, which causes them to fall off the couch. The two are left disappointed that AI let them down for once, but are reassured they can still use it.

They rush over to their computer, and ask their chatbot how to build a treehouse. They run off with a saw and hammer, and have to be convinced to double check the information, looking up tutorials by various [[Minecraft:mobs]]. They discover a video from the [[Minecraft:Building Birds]], long established and respected professionals who build "chicken certified" creations, and have superior advice to the AI. With the insight gained the duo get to work on their own treehouse, but feel the end result comes off as bland and empty. They decide to decorate it with inspiration from the AI treehouse, and all is well.
