			At the time the story began, Evan was working on infrastructure in and around [[Minecraft:Hibiscus House]], most notably an arena to fight the Wither. While he is working on the arena, the girls arrive, announcing that they have the last [[Minecraft:Wither Skeleton Skull\|wither skeleton skull]]. The incomplete wither construct somehow forces Evan to put the last skull in, creating the Wither in the process. The wither is quickly slain.

			After some time, Evan apologizes to [[Minecraft:Tyler]] and explains that the group did not want to fight the wither without him, and Tyler apologizes in return about the change of time zone. Evan gifts Tyler the [[Minecraft:Wither star]], which Tyler puts in a newly built [[Minecraft:Beacon\|beacon]]. He then suggests that the group go to [[Minecraft:The End\|the End]]. Throughout the second volume, Evan is repeatedly shown being picked on and tormented by a school bully. The reasons given for this animosity are never given, but it is implied to have been ongoing for an extended time before the story. Whenever this bully is around, Evan will often lose his temper or be manipulated into whatever the bully desires at that moment. Over the course of the comic, he develops the courage to stand up to this oppression, him and his friends successfully riding him in the moment.
