The item forms of most blocks are now lit differently from before. The left and right sides of blocks are no longer lit the same as they were previously; the left has been brightened and the right darkened. If a block used a solid white texture, the top face would use the color {{color|#F4F4F4}}, the left face {{color|#9E9E9E}} and the right face {{color|#666666}}.

Saplings, dandelions, roses, red mushrooms and brown mushrooms are unchanged from their previous appearances.
