== Usage ==
To drink milk, press and hold {{control|use}} while it is selected in the hotbar. Drinking it immediately removes all status [[Minecraft:effect]]s from the [[Minecraft:player]] and returns an empty [[Minecraft:bucket]]. Note that [[Minecraft:fire]] is not a status effect; therefore, drinking milk doesn't extinguish a burning player.

The benefits of area status effects granted by [[Minecraft:beacon]]s and [[Minecraft:conduit]]s are restored almost immediately {{in|be}} and after a few seconds {{in|je}}.
