The cape's design reflects the logo change that came with the rebrand from Mojang to Mojang Studios. It features some of the white "mojangs" that make up their logo against a red backdrop.<ref>https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/meet-mojang-studios</ref>

This cape is given to those employed by Mojang Studios on or after July 25, 2021. The cape is kept indefinitely even if the employee leaves Mojang, unless manually revoked.
