The &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;taiga hills&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; was a hills variant of the [[Minecraft:taiga]] that no longer generates since [[Minecraft:Caves &amp;amp; Cliffs: Part II]], and was removed in &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Java Edition.&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&lt;br /&gt;

== Description ==&lt;br /&gt;
Like all other hills biomes, taiga hills featured more elevated and hilly terrain, with sharper inclines and more overhangs than the regular taiga, but were identical to them in every other aspect. [[Minecraft:Village]]s and [[Minecraft:pillager outposts]] didn&amp;#039;t generate in this biome{{only|java}}, though [[Minecraft:wolves]] and [[Minecraft:fox]]es still spawned.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
With [[Minecraft:Vibrant Visuals]], taiga hills use a coolish humid [[Minecraft:Fog#Volumetric fog|volumetric fog]] setting, which slightly fades the distance in an orange tint. Taiga hills have coolish color grading tints the environment with a colder blue color, and cold sunlight which appears slightly brighter at dusk and dawn.&lt;br /&gt;
