During [[Minecraft:Java Edition Alpha]], the person who would become chief founded a group calling themselves the [[Minecraft:Survivors]], an underground group of heroes who claim to have been around for many years. They exist to rebel against the threat of hostile [[Minecraft:Mob|mobs]], up to at least the [[Minecraft:Ender Dragon|ender dragon]], which they claim to have defeated and respawned many times. <br />

Nearing the end of their career, the Chief would begin to write a record of their team and strategies, hoping it would eventually be found by the next generation of heroes. Hiding it inside of an unknown location, it would eventually be found by the reader, preserving their legacy.<br />
