'''Halloween''' is a [[ProjectGorgon:Seasonal Event]] celebrated in the Council Lands. For the past few years, strange circumstances have befallen [[ProjectGorgon:Alharth]] during this time, often related to the [[ProjectGorgon:Undead]]. This seems to be a result of the [[ProjectGorgon:The Chalice Saga, Vol 1|Chalice]] being in close alignment with [[ProjectGorgon:Alharth]].

Throughout the season, Skeletons, Ghouls, and other [[ProjectGorgon:Undead]] drop seasonal materials, recipes, and ability scrolls. Magical keys can also be looted, which are used to open chests behind the Inn of [[ProjectGorgon:Serbule Keep]]. The goddess of whimsy and unpredictability, [[ProjectGorgon:Zhia Lian]], has a habit of interfering during this time of year. She often offers promising adventurers lucrative rewards for helping with a far-reaching Undead problem, and issues related to her misguided [[ProjectGorgon:Brandon Mellus|Cult]].

=== Zhia Lian's Undead Removal & Spooky Challenge Quests ===
[[ProjectGorgon:Zhia Lian]] begins by tasking each adventurer with two quests. [[ProjectGorgon:Zhia Lian Event: Candied Apples]] and [[ProjectGorgon:Zhia Lian Event: Kill Skeletons]] are received by characters logged in during the event period. Completing a quest unlocks additional quests in a branching quest tree. Twelve quests reward a {{Item icon|Live Event Memorabilia|1}} [[ProjectGorgon:Live Event Credit]] when completed, and most others reward [[ProjectGorgon:Event Loot Key (Universal)|Event Loot Keys]] of various levels. A total of six [[ProjectGorgon:titles]] can be unlocked through completing quests.

Adventurers that complete either [[ProjectGorgon:Zhia Lian Event: Bat Out]] or [[ProjectGorgon:Zhia Lian Event: Kill Pumpkin Mimics]] will be given permission to begin the quest [[ProjectGorgon:Zhia Lian Event: Preparing For The Big Party]] by speaking to [[ProjectGorgon:Brandon Mellus]]. Before work on that quest can begin, Brandon's quest [[ProjectGorgon:Zhia Lian Event: Delivering The Beer]] must be completed. After finishing the beer delivery quest, Brandon will move from [[ProjectGorgon:Amulna]] to the [[ProjectGorgon:Red Wing Casino]] party room. Three quests must be completed to finish [[ProjectGorgon:Zhia Lian Event: Preparing For The Big Party]].

In the week leading up to [[ProjectGorgon:Halloween 2021]], [[ProjectGorgon:The Bat in the Hat]] appeared in the [[ProjectGorgon:Serbule]] region, offering free transformations to and from [[ProjectGorgon:Giant Bat]] form.

A few days before the first Halloween Party of the year, [[ProjectGorgon:The Bat in the Hat]] returned to the [[ProjectGorgon:Red Wing Casino]]. Besides handing out the recipe for {{Item|Creepy Jack O' Lantern}}, it also offered two quests. [[ProjectGorgon:Zhia Lian Event: A Hat From a Bat]] first, followed by [[ProjectGorgon:Zhia Lian Event: A Better Hat From a Bat]].
