I don't want to pressure her into doing anything. I just want her to be strong. She's such a wisp of a thing and it isn't safe. She could go the happy wholesome route, fully embracing Poetry, which would tie her to mortals across the planet. But Poetry still reeks of me. I get it. I gifted it to her a few decades back, and she's accepted it, but she hasn't fully embraced it yet.

You see, one of the few kindnesses we gods give to newly-arriving gods is to leave them alone for the first 500 years of their existence. Not everybody follows this rule very strictly, but they at least pay lip service to it. All except [[ProjectGorgon:Vol]], who actively tries to kill them.

Fenna was initially too weak to survive Vol, so she had to hide in Acur for the first few centuries of her life. That's how she became friends with [[ProjectGorgon:Talerra]] and [[ProjectGorgon:Ilth Hale]]: she was a guest in their realm. Acurd is a place that only certain gods can center, and Vol can't. I can't either, actually! I'm a bit jealous of that, to be honest. There are so many stories to be found there.

Oh, it's pretty common, really: Many new gods are born innocent and naturally graft with the concept of Innocence. But then these gods stop feeling so innocent, and they lose the domain. I just thought that Fenna, of all gods, might hold onto it. But I get it: it's a lot of work! Mortals on trial often pray to her for help, and being as selfless as she is, she tries to help as many as she can.

But I've noticed she's hearing fewer and fewer pleas. That means some other god is becoming the god of Innocence. I wonder who?

Anyway, I know I'm over-worrying. Fenna has met Vol and survived, so she's not in immediate danger. But it's more than survival. I love her and I want her to be my equal! I just have to wait for her to want that.
