Following typical naval convention, a [[StarCitizen:Battlecruiser]] is expected to be larger than a [[StarCitizen:Destroyer]] (which are known in [[StarCitizen:The Verse]] as the smallest of the [[StarCitizen::Category:Ships of the line|ships of the line]]) while being smaller than a [[StarCitizen:battleship]] or [[StarCitizen:Fleet Carrier]]. A battlecruiser is unlikely to possess significant hangar capacity as this would intrude on the [[StarCitizen:Escort Carrier]] classification. How a battlecruiser would be differentiated from a [[StarCitizen:Cruiser]] is unknown.
