Tobias Frank and Paul Dalessi met while working for the ''Half Life 2'' mod ''Eternal Silence'', Paul Dalessi met David Simon while modding maps for ''Halo:Custom Edition''. A friend suggested something along the lines of ‘awesome foursome’ at first, because there were only three of them. It was hilarious at that point, so they might have been drunk. They eventually settled on that theme of ‘four,’ and ended up with Four Horsemen. They went with it because it was a good name, and sounds kinda badass-ish.<ref name=":0" /><br />
