The initial design of the Pyro RYT Multi-Tool was designed by [[StarCitizen:Ruben Pardue]] during his time working with [[StarCitizen:Titania Terraforming]] in the [[StarCitizen:24th Century]]. In his free time, he sketched ideas for new equipment that would be useful for constructing tunnels to transform [[StarCitizen:Uriel]]. After Pardue left Titania after the [[StarCitizen:Uriel tunnel collapse]], he was hired by [[StarCitizen:Greycat Industrial]] and the multi tool was released to the market some time after.<br />

The popularity of the Pyro Multi-Tool upon its release so overwhelmed the company's supply chain that the backlog kept most customers waiting months for their order. This gave competitors time to design and sell cheap knockoffs.
