			Besides merely upgrading just from one ship to another, more importantly this also allows to progressively upgrade along a chain of ever larger ships, cumulating small discounts each time, and resulting in a noticable final discount.

			In order to save money, the principle is to buy an initial ship discounted during a [[StarCitizen:warbond]], upgrade to another ship on warbond etc etc. This process can take thus take time and planning in order to maximize gains.
