As Terra Mills' first attempt, Braga was a huge flop, because the drink was packaged with a bottling plant which was using a grade of aluminium composite that wasn't up to the rigors of space travel. Researchers of TM devised a method to store carbonation inside nanobeads which would remain intact until the surrounding pressure was fully released.<br />

The carbonation is being stored in nanobeads throughout the drink and maintained in that state under pressure. When the drink is opened, the pressure is released, the nanobeads burst, and the drink is instantly carbonated and rendered fizzy.<br />
