After the devastating [[StarCitizen:Save Stanton]] and [[StarCitizen:Fight for Pyro]] events, the [[StarCitizen:Advocacy]] discovered that their instigators, the [[StarCitizen:Slicers]], were none other than undercover [[StarCitizen:Frontier Fighters]], a heavily armed extremist faction known for their militaristic values. With growing resources at the Frontier Fighters' fingertips, many feared more targeted attacks on Stanton in the future.

Players were tasked with picking a side: the resourceful [[StarCitizen:Citizens for Prosperity]] sought industrial resources and the rare chemical compound [[StarCitizen:Detatrine]] to replenish their severely depleted strategic reserves and create vital medical supplies needed to stabilize the system. The [[StarCitizen:Headhunters]] acquired [[StarCitizen:salvage]] and other valuable [[StarCitizen:mining]] resources through any means necessary—including combat and piracy—to arm their forces and rebuild what they lost.<ref name=":0" />
