=== VerseCon 2017 ===
VerseCon 2017 was held in New Austin, Texas, US, at the Trinity Hall on Friday and Saturday, October 27 - 28.<ref name=":0" /> On the first day it featured watching the [[StarCitizen:CitizenCon]] Keynote Address live from Frankfurt, a Town Hall format discussion of what was seen, and what the future holds. On the second day took place the first annual VerseCon Open Tournament, featuring both an Arena Commander tournament and a Star Marine "Last man Standing" tournament, with trophies by RiceMaiden. There were also fan panels hosted by people from the community. There was also be a demo area to try out all of the control setups used by Star Citizen. Keyboard & Mouse, Duel Sticks, or a full HOTAS with petals from Thrustmaster. Track IR sent five [[StarCitizen:head tracking]] devices available to try as well. Be sure to watch Kinshadow and Logante judged the [[StarCitizen:Cosplay]] contest. Throughout the event there were prizes such as flight sticks from Thrustmaster, Track IR setups, signed art from Jeremiah Lee, and more.<ref name=":1" />
