It uses a new rig and has an entirely new animation set, it builds on the old creature tech but is basically entirely new. CIG has tech they can re-use in the future such as breakable weakspots, interrupting behaviours, breakable rocks players have to use as cover, serpent IK solvers (which is how it coils up and rotates naturally like it does) AI use of Beam weapons, other creature having knowledge / context of another creature.<ref name=":1" />
