This template is used after references in which the link no longer functions, and adds the page to [[:Category:Dead links]].

This template should not be used if either an archive is available for the link, or if an alternative reference is available.

== Usage ==

Simply place this template after the non-functioning link within the reference.

The parameter {{p|1}} can be set to display a title, stating what no longer works or how long the link has been "dead".

<code>Example.{<nowiki/>{dead link}}</code> → Example.{{dead link|nocat=1}}

<code>Example.{<nowiki/>{dead link|found dead April 2015}}</code> → Example.{{dead link|found dead April 2015|nocat=1}}
