Once again, after not being invited to participate on the StarCitizen:Invictus Launch Week 2953, StarCitizen:Drake Interplanetary decided to go their own way and make their own tagalong convention to showcase their contribution and solutions in defense offered to [[StarCitizen::Category:Security organizations|militias and security organizations]].
Thus, the Drake DefenseCon 2953 was held at the StarCitizen:Riker Memorial Spaceport, in StarCitizen:Area18 from the 27th to the 28th of May, 2953, and coincided with the end of the 2953 Invictus Launch Week event hold at the StarCitizen:Bevic Convention Center in StarCitizen:Area18.
