Calcite drops as an item if mined by any Minecraft:pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, it drops nothing. Template:Breaking row
Natural generation
Calcite generates naturally as part of the structure of Minecraft:amethyst geodes, between the Minecraft:smooth basalt and Minecraft:block of amethyst layers. It also generates in the Minecraft:stony peaks in Minecraft:strips.
Usage
Calcite is used for decoration. It has lower blast resistance and hardness than most other stone-related blocks.
