{{Journal entry|
The Elder Gods are not subtle in their creations, and this is best exemplified in the Tok-Xil. Not considered part of the KotHaar caste, as such, this creature is more like living artillery, built purely for destruction.
In aeons past, these creatures would blast apart mountains, decimate forests and banish creatures back to nightmares. The world was a darker, scarier place, and needed deadlier and deadlier defences to push the evil back.
Recently - and by recently I mean in the last few thousand years - there has been much less need for the Tok-Xil in Ashenfall. They still stood as the guardians of the Lens, but it has been a long time since they last saw combat.
Fuzan, of course, changed all that.
Now, the Tok-Xil roam the desert sands, obliterating everything in their path. They are uncaring engines of destruction, slaying any living creature in their path.
