The vast majority of Kalphite eggs do not contain Kalphite hatchlings. However, a shaking yellow egg indicates that a Kalphite worker is about to hatch from it, or a red egg indicates a Dragonwilds:Kalphite Soldier is about to hatch from it. Damaging the egg quickly to destroy it prevents the creature from spawning.
