The vast majority of kalphite eggs do not contain kalphite hatchlings. However, a shaking yellow egg indicates that a Dragonwilds:kalphite worker is about to hatch from it, or a red egg indicates a Dragonwilds:kalphite soldier is about to hatch from it. Damaging the egg quickly to destroy it prevents the creature from spawning.
