A player can click on a world to select it, and thereby access the options of it. Then, some options appear at the bottom of the screen.
The World Options allow the player to change many settings related to the world like [[Minecraft:game rule]]s and world's difficulty. This is visible only when in a [[Minecraft:world]].

There are a total of 9 operations that can be performed from the world options, some of which are contained within the "Edit World" screen.
It can also be used to change world's default game mode and options related to multiplayer.{{Upcoming|Java 26.3}}
