A red shrub is a non-solid Minecraft:plant block found in Minecraft:dappled forests. Red shrubs are not biome tinted like most other plants, keeping their red color regardless of the Minecraft:biome they are placed in.
Obtaining
Breaking
A red shrub can be broken instantly with any item or by hand, dropping itself.
A red shrub also breaks and drops itself if Minecraft:water runs over its location, a Minecraft:piston extends or pushes a block into its location, or the block under the plant is moved or destroyed. However, a red shrub gets destroyed without dropping anything if Minecraft:lava runs over it.
Placing any block on a red shrub replaces the shrub without dropping anything.
Natural generation
Red shrubs occasionally generate in patches in Minecraft:dappled forests.
Post-generation
Template:Control Minecraft:bone meal on a red shrub attempts to grow another red shrub on a horizontally/vertically neighboring block.
Usage
Red shrubs are a decorative plant and can be placed on any of the following blocks: Template:Columns-list
Unlike most plants, red shrubs cannot be placed inside Minecraft:flower pots. They can be Minecraft:snowlogged.Template:Only
