19w42a is the tenth Minecraft:snapshot for Minecraft:Java Edition 1.15, released on October 16, 2019,<ref name="19w42a">Template:Snap</ref> which makes Minecraft:slime blocks and Minecraft:honey blocks no longer stick together and fixes many rendering bugs, as well as several other bugs.

lectern_booksitem tag.- Contains Minecraft:written book and Minecraft:book and quill.
Changes
Blocks
- Now eject empty Minecraft:glass bottles "properly" (likely not, due to Template:Bug) when not facing Minecraft:water.
- Minecraft:Fire charges launched from a dispenser now light Minecraft:campfires.
- Can now place Minecraft:armor stands.
Minecraft:Honey blocks and Minecraft:slime blocks
- No longer stick to each other.
Gameplay
- Can now start gliding even rise in immediately after the jump up, not only during the descent after the jump.
