Template:Multi Infobox Ascension cores are items used and crafted in the Dragonwilds:mystic forge to ascend masterwork weapons from their base power level to the next tier. They are made by combining Dragonwilds:ascension shards or by collecting them as rewards for completing Dragonwilds:Nightmare Crucible instances in Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands. For most cores, players can gain core shards by killing mini-bosses (such as Dragonwilds:red dragons, Dragonwilds:green dragons, and Dragonwilds:blue dragons).
The only core that cannot be crafted thus far is the power level 7 ascension core, which can only be acquired by completing the Dragonwilds:Nightmare Crucible.
